Financial leadership
A practical senior finance perspective on planning, reporting, control and the decisions leaders need to make with limited time and potentially imperfect information.

Sim is an ACA-qualified senior finance professional with over 15 years’ experience across financial management, reporting, planning and business performance. His career, which began in Audit & Assurance has put him close to the practical disciplines that keep an organisation financially controlled and able to make good decisions, including understanding what the numbers are really saying and what leaders need to do about them.
Sim’s time in Audit incorporated working across several sectors including football clubs. He has since then held senior positions at blue-chip organisations and more recently operating at Board Level within the Healthcare sector.
At COPA, Sim brings the finance lens to the wider GRC picture. He helps us connect governance, risk and control thinking to financial resilience, business planning and the management information leaders need to understand financial challenges early and respond with confidence. His role is especially important in making sure COPA's approach works for clubs with very different levels of financial maturity and capacity.
