Meet Andy
Governance & Controls | TransformationSQUAD #4Andy brings more than 35 years of experience from highly regulated banking, with senior leadership roles spanning governance, regulatory compliance, transformation and performance. A large part of that career has involved helping complex organisations turn change into something that can actually operate, with clearer ownership, stronger controls and better management discipline.
At COPA, Andy brings that practical transformation lens to the proposition. He helps us test whether governance and control frameworks are workable, proportionate and capable of being embedded rather than simply designed. His experience of major organisational change also helps us think about what clubs will need to do when new regulatory expectations have to become part of day-to-day management, not a one-off compliance exercise.

Helping COPA keep implementation proportionate, practical and focused on the routines, ownership and discipline a club will need day to day.
Away from the day job, Andy has a strong connection to sport through photography and has worked as a sports and events photographer, including at Premier League and Football League level. He is also one of the founding trustees and the chair of a charitable trust that supports people in need within the local community.
